Concept: I started making glasshouse project since 2016. After I moved to the United States, I have been missing my home. Using home material, I started making glass sculpture to remember someone’s memory.
Recently, I received a lot of old window frames from my friends house. The arch shape window was symbolic at her house but because it was very old, she had to replace all of them. I imagined her memory of the house with windows. I imagined what her and her family saw from the windows. I hope the piece reminds people of their childhood homes.
